Kiyah McDermid

Bio

Background: Kiyah (she/her) is a North Carolina native that earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she became a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She later went on to obtain her Master’s degree in Student Affairs, Higher Education and International Education Policy from the University of Maryland, College Park. Kiyah’s professional background has been in a variety of student affairs functional areas to include college access, fraternity and sorority life, residence life and diversity, equity and inclusion consulting. Before joining the Wolfpack, Kiyah also served as the House Director for Panhellenic sororities Delta Phi Epsilon and Alpha Xi Delta.
