Work Orders

If you live in a private house, please contact your house director and NOT University Facilities.

For University Owned houses 2, 3, 4, 15, and 16 (Kappa Kappa Gamma, Delta Sigma Phi, Pi Beta Phi, Alpha Gamma Rho, and Pi Kappa Phi), please utilize the instructions below.

If the situation is an emergency, follow these steps:

  • During business hours (Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.), call 919.515.3040 to state the emergency.
  • After hours, contact the Chapter Resident Director on-call at 919.622.8175.
  • All telecommunications issues (such as phone, internet or cable TV problems) should be submitted directly to Communications Technology at 919.515.7099.

    Students remaining in a room while a work order is being addressed by a staff member will be required to either leave the confines of the room while the work is being performed or wear a mask and maintain 6′ of distance. Students who refuse either option understand that the work requested cannot be performed.

If the situation is a non-emergency, follow these steps:

Submit a Non-Emergency Work Order

Submit one work order per task. Multiple requests per work order may be rejected. To submit a Work Order, follow the directions below:

  1. Click on the Submit a work order link to enter a request.
  2. Enter your full name or the name of the person to contact about this request. (Note: If you have submitted a previous request, your information may already be populated.)
  3. Enter a phone number where we may contact you regarding this request.
  4. Enter an e-mail address where we may contact you regarding this request.
  5. Select the Facility area where you need work performed from the drop down menu.
  6. Select the Building where work is to be performed.
  7. Select the Location Asset where work is to be performed.
  8. Select the Request Type Description from the drop down menu.
  9. Give a full description of your request. (Note: If you do not provide sufficient information for your request, it may be rejected.)
  10. Set the Notify Me option if you would like to receive email updates about your request.
  11. Click the Submit button to receive your Request Number. Please record this number for your records. If opted to be notified, you will also receive an email once your request is received. (Note: If you do not receive a request number, you have not successfully submitted a request.)
