Alcohol and other Drugs- Pi Beta Phi
February 7 @ 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm
Pi Beta Phi,
Your chapter has been assigned to the Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) training facilitated by Prevention Services for the 2024-2025 academic term.
Location: TBD
-
Program success is tied to opportunity for engagement. For that reason, sessions are limited to 50 people. The goal is for each chapter to have 50% of their members attend, but for chapters with more than 100 members, attendance is capped at 50.
-
Chapters should focus on sending first-year students and other new members first.
-
Scenario one: ABG sorority with 130 members would send 50 women, and if the new member class was 45, supplement new members attending with other members
-
Scenario two: XYZ fraternity with 48 members was invited, 24 need to attend. If there were 12 new members, the chapter would try to get as many new members to attend as possible and have older members join.
-
- Please remind all members who attend to take the post-assessment at the end of the training. Credit is awarded ONLY when the assessment has been completed. The prevention team will track attendance for our Department and you will receive an email indicating if your chapter met the attendance goal.
