Chapter Services
Chapter Services staff work collaboratively with chapter leaders, chapter advisors, and national headquarters/regional officers to support chapters in achieving their organizational mission. Responsibilities include:
Chapter Development
- Serve as liaison to more than fifty international fraternities and sororities, alumni/alumnae advisors, and undergraduate chapters, regarding chapter operations, extension/expansion, university policies, discipline cases, and other relevant issues
- Oversee membership recruitment, new member and intake procedures, including extension/expansion efforts, new member education programs for membership intake and recruitment
- Develop recovery plans for chapters that fail to qualify for recognition and provide follow-up support
Programs
- Advise the InterFraternity Council (IFC) recruitment team, oversee recruitment guide selection and training, marketing, and coordination of IFC Formal Recruitment
- Develop curriculum and teach leadership and educational programs for individual chapters, chapter officers, and the Greek community (presidents meetings, chapter officer training, etc.)
- Work in partnership with Student Conduct to investigate violations and support organization accountability
- Advise Order of Omega, Greek Honors Society
- Coordinate Greek Leaders Retreat
- Coordinate Greek Awards
Administration
- Maintain accurate demographic, statistical, and academic performance Information regarding Fraternity and Sorority Life
- Conduct assessment on Issues relevant to fraternities and sororities as well as student development
- Coordinate with Student Involvement to ensure student organization compliance with recognition protocols
- Serve on Title IX and Packapalooza committees
