Background: Shelly is a Delta Zeta from Southern Illinois University. Shelly earned her Master’s Degree from SIUC and worked at Bowling Green State University coordinating Leadership Programs, Sorority Housing and advising the NPHC for three years before joining the NC State staff in the Fall of 2001 as Associate Director of Greek Life. In July of 2013, she was appointed Interim Director of Greek Life. She was promoted to the role of Director of Greek Life in May 2014. She was elected to the Executive Board for the Association of Fraternity|Sorority Advisors for 3 terms and served as the 2012 President.
