Background:  Alvin is from Memphis, Tennessee. He is a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated. He earned his undergraduate degree in Recreation and Sports Management from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and his Master’s degree in Higher Education from the University of Florida.
