Greek Village Apartments opened in Fall 2023, and provide upperclassmen independent living in the heart of the Greek Village. With generous living spaces, high ceilings, and countless amenities, GV Apartments are the place to be your Sophomore, Junior, or Senior years!

LIVING IN GREEK VILLAGE APARTMENTS FOR SUMMER 2026

We have open apartment spaces for Summer 2026. Summer break housing is now available in Greek Village Apartments.

IMPORTANT DATES

Summer break housing in Greek village Apartments begins on Sunday, May 10 and is available for either Summer I, Summer II, or both Summer sessions. 

  • Summer I: Sunday, May 10 – Saturday, June 27
  • Summer II: Sunday, June 28 – Thursday, July 30
  • Both Summer Sessions: Sunday, May 10 – Thursday, July 30 at 10 a.m.

  • Limited to one application per student
  • Your progress will be saved if you start your application and need to pause before submitting

COST

Review the Summer 2026 rates for rent, internet, laundry, and streaming service here. Rent for Greek Village Apartments are as follows:

  • Summer I: $1,542 billed April 10
  • Summer II: $1,542 billed May 22

NEXT STEPS

  • Complete the room agreement: Sign your room agreement by completing this form
  • Share your roommate group (if you have one): If you have preferred roommates that have also completed their application and agreement, email your roommate group to Jackie Heidegger Hamilton at jhamilt4@ncsu.edu
  • Review your room assignment: We will process your application and agreement within 72 business hours. Check your ncsu.edu email for confirmation of your Summer 2026 housing assignment. At this time, you will be connected with your roommates and receive additional details from our team.
  • Stay connected: Check your ncsu.edu email throughout the year for important information, updates, and reminders leading up to Greek Village Move-in from the Department of Fraternity and Sorority Life

SUMMER MOVE-IN

Once you complete your room agreement and are assigned a space, you will receive a confirmation email with important details regarding Summer Move-in and your check-in appointment. Residents will be notified as soon as their room is move-in ready and available for them. This can be as early as Thursday, May 7 and will be by Sunday, May 10 at noon.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT SUMMER HOUSING

Frequently asked questions about summer housing in Greek Village Apartments:

Is rent the same for summer as it was for fall and spring?

No, rent for summer is charged each summer session. Session I is $1,542 and Session II is $1,542 for a total rent cost from May 10 – July 30 of $3,084. Additional housing costs for internet, streaming, and laundry remain the same. You can review the costs here. 

Am I required to be enrolled in summer classes to live in Greek Village Apartments?

No, you are not required to be enrolled in classes for the summer to live in Greek Village Apartments; however, if you rely on financial aid or scholarships to pay for your housing, you should inquire about eligibility requirements for your financial aid and grants prior to extending your agreement for Greek Village Apartments.

Can I stay in my same room and apartment unit?

Yes, you can remain in your same room and apartment unit if you are currently a resident of Greek Village Apartments. Notify Jackie Heidegger Hamilton at jhamilt4@ncsu.edu that you would like to stay for the summer by April 1 in order to indicate your preference to stay in the same room before new summer assignments are created.

Can I be assigned to my 2026 – 2027 room for the summer?

We cannot guarantee you will be assigned to your fall bedroom or apartment. It is based on what spaces we have available.

Will I get new roommates if one or all of my roommates aren’t staying for the summer?

Maybe. If you are a current Greek Village Apartments resident, you may get new roommates if you have one or more empty rooms in your apartment.

Do I have to move out on or by May 7?

If you are a current Greek Village Apartments resident, no you do not have to move-out May 7. You do need to move out by 10 a.m. on July 30 as our building closes for the rest of the summer to prepare for August move-in.

I’m living in my same room and apartment next year, do I really need to move out on July 30?

Yes, we close the building to do deep cleans of all apartments. You won’t need to move out all of your personal belongings from your bedroom if you are returning to the same bedroom; however, you will need to prepare your kitchen and bathrooms for a deep clean to take place. More details will be shared with you as we get closer to July.

Greek Village Apartments is currently 100% full for 2026 – 2027. We do not have any empty beds or apartments; however, we do anticipate vacancies throughout the year. 

Complete this Greek Village Apartments interest form in order to let us know you are interested in learning when vacancies become available. We will be in touch throughout the coming months as vacancies become available. Be sure to monitor your ncsu.edu email for updates and be prepared to respond quickly.

COST

Rates are finalized and you can review rent and other housing costs for 2026 – 2027. Please note affiliated students refers to those who are members of fraternities and sororities at NC State.

FALL MOVE-IN

Once you complete your room agreement and are assigned a space, you will receive a confirmation email with important details regarding next steps.

Move-in information will be emailed out throughout the summer, beginning after Spring Break.
