Summer break housing in Greek village Apartments begins on Sunday, May 4 and is available for either Summer I, Summer II, or both Summer sessions. 

• Summer I: Sunday, May 4 – Saturday, June 21
• Summer II: Sunday, June 22 – Wednesday, July 30
• Both Summer Sessions: Sunday, May 4 – Wednesday, July 30 at 10 a.m.

• Summer I: $1,482 billed April 11
• Summer II: $1,482 billed May 23

NEXT STEPS

• Complete the room agreement: Sign your room agreement by completing this form
• Share your roommate group (if you have one): If you have preferred roommates that have also completed their application and agreement, email your roommate group to Jackie Heidegger Hamilton at jhamilt4@ncsu.edu
• Review your room assignment: We will process your application and agreement within 48 business hours. Check your ncsu.edu email for confirmation of your Summer 2025 housing assignment. At this time, you will be connected with your roommates and receive additional details from our team.

SUMMER MOVE-IN

Once you complete your room agreement and are assigned a space, you will receive a confirmation email with important details regarding Summer Move-in and your check-in appointment. Residents will be notified as soon as their room is move-in ready and available for them. This can be as early as Friday, May 2 and will be by Sunday, May 4 at noon.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT SUMMER HOUSING

Frequently asked questions about summer housing in Greek Village Apartments:

• Is rent the same for summer as it was for fall and spring? No, rent for summer is charged each summer session. Session I is $1,482 and Session II is $1,482 for a total rent cost from May 1 – July 30 of $2,964. Additional housing costs for internet, streaming, and laundry remain the same. You can review the costs here. 
• Am I required to be enrolled in summer classes to live in Greek Village Apartments? No, you are not required to be enrolled in classes for the summer to live in Greek Village Apartments; however, if you rely on financial aid or scholarships to pay for your housing, you should inquire about eligibility requirements for your financial aid and grants prior to extending your agreement for Greek Village Apartments.
• Can I stay in my same room and apartment unit? Yes, you can remain in your same room and apartment unit if you are currently a resident of Greek Village Apartments. Notify Jackie Heidegger Hamilton at jhamilt4@ncsu.edu that you would like to stay for the summer by April 1 in order to indicate your preference to stay in the same room.
• Can I be assigned to my 2025 – 2026 room for the summer? We cannot guarantee you will be assigned to your fall bedroom or apartment. It is based on what spaces we have available.
• Will I get new roommates if one or all of my roommates aren’t staying for the summer. Yes, if you are a current Greek Village Apartments resident, you may get new roommates if you have one or more empty rooms in your apartment.
• Do I have to move out May 1? If you are a current Greek Village Apartments resident, no you do not have to move-out May 1. You do need to move out by 10 a.m. on July 30 though as our building closes for the rest of the summer to prepare for August move-in.
• I’m living in my same room and apartment next year, do I really need to move out on July 30? Yes, we close the building to do deep cleans of all apartments. You won’t need to move out all of your personal belogings from your bedroom if you are returning to the same bedroom; however, you will need to prepare your kitchen and bathrooms for a deep clean to take place. 

LIVING IN GREEK VILLAGE APARTMENTS FOR 2025 – 2026

Greek Village Apartments is currently 100% full for 2025 – 2026 with the exception of chapter spaces. We do not have any empty beds or apartments; however, we do anticipate vacancies throughout the year.

We will be in touch throughout the coming months as vacancies become available. Be sure to monitor your ncsu.edu email for updates and be prepared to respond quickly.

Rates are in the University’s annual process of review and will be confirmed soon. We anticipate costs will increase 4% next fiscal year from published rates for 2024-2025. Please note affiliated students refers to those who are members of fraternities and sororities at NC State.

APPLICATION OPENS FOR AFFILIATED STUDENTS

• Friday, September 20 at 5 PM: Application opens for members of fraternities and sororities and unaffiliated students “pulled-in” by affiliated students. Students being “pulled in” should email fsl-department@ncsu.edu with their information and roommate group so FSL can update system access. Apply today here.

VIP ROOM SELECTION

• Friday, September 20 at 5 PM – Tuesday, September 24 at 5 p.m: Room Selection for returning Greek Village Apartments residents that are Greek-affiliated wishing to return to the same building, same apartment unit, same bedroom with a full roommate group
• Tuesday, September 25 at 5 PM – Friday, September 27 at noon: Room Selection for returning Greek Village Apartments residents that are Greek-affiliated wishing to return to the same building, but a different apartment unit or bedroom with a full roommate group

PRIORITY ROOM SELECTION

• Friday, September 27 at 1:30 PM through Friday, October 25 at noon: Room Selection for current Greek Village residents that are affiliated and have a full roommate group
• Friday, October 25 at 1 PM – Friday, November 22 at noon: Room Selection for all current affiliated students with a full roommate group
• Room Selection events held for Priority Room Selection:
  • Friday, September 27 from 1:30 – 3:30 PM
  • Friday, October 25 from 1 – 3 PM

STANDARD ROOM SELECTION

• Friday, November 22 at 1 PM – Friday, February 14 at 5 PM: Room Selection for all current greek-affiliated students with partial roommate groups (roommate matching occurs)
• Room Selection events held for Standard Room Selection:

  • Friday, January 10 at 1:30 – 3:30 PM – cancelled due to inclement weather

• Monday, February 17 at 5 PM – Affiliated status restriction is removed and unaffiliated students now have access to the application – Greek Village Apartments is full and the application is not available at this time. RETURNING RESIDENTS ROOM SELECTION

• Monday, February 17 at 5 PM – Wednesday, February 19 at 5 PM: Room Selection for returning Greek Village Apartments residents that are not current members wishing to return to the same building, same apartment unit, same bedroom (if available) with a full roommate group – cancelled due to Greek Village Apartments being 100% full
• Wednesday, February 19 at 5 PM – Friday, February 21 at noon: Room Selection for returning Greek Village Apartments residents that are not current members wishing to return to the same building, but a different apartment unit or bedroom with a full roommate group – cancelled due to Greek Village Apartments being 100% full

• Friday, February 21 at 1 PM – Monday, March 17 at noon: Room Selection for all undergraduate students with a full roommate group
  Monday, March 17 at 5 p.m: Room Selection for all undergraduate students. Roommate group restriction is removed. – cancelled due to Greek Village Apartments being 100% full
