Zeta Tau Alpha honored at National Convention

The Iota Phi Chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha was honored with several awards at their International Convention in Phoenix, Arizona this summer. Chapter Delegates Gina Black, Leighann Brandish, and Maria Goudy represented NC State and the NCSU Panhellenic Community with pride!

During the Convention, the chapter earned Crown Chapter, which is ZTA’s standards program for recognizing excellence in recruitment, programming, financial health, reporting, and cooperation with the ZTA Fraternity. This is the fourth year in a row they were able to achieve this honor. They also were also recognized for the following:

  • achieving quota\total for the 2015-2016 school year
  • achieving a highly commendable gpa (3.0 or greater) for the biennium
  • Founders Club – a donation of $50,000 to the ZTA Foundation for the biennium
  • a Helping Hands Award, so supporting another ZTA chapter 
  • Housing Association of the Year

The highlight of the week came at the Recognition Banquet, where the NC State Zetas earned a National Council Special Recognition Silver Award! This silver tray was given to the chapter for their high-level of achievement.
